Member of the Month:	Welcome to Starting Over - New Beginnings. Always wondered what it would be like if you had control of the character's happenings right as they all met? What if everyone just met Lucas and things changed, or even stayed the same. Thats what we're here to find out. We control the characters and their fates, will we change OTH history and make it our own? Thats what we are here to find out, in our Own OTH-Verse. These are the rules to follow while on the board:

1: No fussing and No racial posts. If you want to fuss then PM each other. We really don't want to see someone fuss. If Me or the rest of the staff sees it then both person's or if more people are involved will be banned permenatly.

2: No one-liners. No one word or one sentence replies unless you put alot in the sentence or you explain what your characters feeling and then use the one-liners. We can't play off of a scene with hardly anything to work with. We can't reply and can't have a decent conversation between characters if you do that. If you are caught using a one liner without a good cause then you will be warned in your post of the usage and if it happens again you will be banned for 2 days.

3: You must be a fan of One Tree Hill.

4: You can only have up to 2 Characters

5: You can only have 2 banners, and they can't be huge banners. If you have a question about the size PM me or one of the admins and send it to us, let us look at it, and then we will tell you if it is an ok size.

6: If you're using an OTH Character(from the show), make sure you RP (Role Play) appropriately. For example, Dan wouldnt work at a charity benefit unless it was for publicity. He wouldn't do from the goodness of his heart; try and write your dialogue to sound as much like the established character as possible. Go watch some old episodes or look up famous quotes to get down the style and lingo of your character.

7: If you take a character then you must post at least 2 or 3 times a week or tell us when you will be able to get on! If someone wants the character and you haven't been on for a good while we can't keep it reserved for you. So please post regularly or tell us what days you can get on. If you fail to do so then you will loose your character. Just tell us in the leaving board when you are able to get on or if you are going on vacation or something like that! Thanks!

8: Please no chatspeak. No 'c u l8er' or anything of that sort. Cursing is allowed. We don't mind the language. But please no Fuck This Fuckety Fuck Fuck Fuckers! thats just to much useage of the word Fuck. We allow all language but please use it in good taste. We will warn you in the post and also in a PM. If we see it again its a temporary ban. ((By the way that line is a NC thing so please don't use it. I know we use it down here but still, leave it off of the boards.))

9: No Killing another character or a sucide. No dying unless giving permission by the staff. And no cutting allowed unless given permission. We've seen that so many times on other boards, to many random people cutting so we are banning that unless given permission. If we see it and we have not emailed you about that then you will be banned for a week maybe 2 weeks.

10: No talking for another character!! We assign characters for a reason and that's so that person can be their character and not someone speaking for them. If we see that it is resolved in banning and the second offense is deletion.

11: No "God modding": never doing the impossible or unrealistic. No taking over another characters actions like pregnancy or death or anything like that unless given permission by staff and agreement from both parties. and if you want to become Pregnant then you will have to get the ok from the staff as well as the other party and be of the age of 17. We will not have the boards being flooded with girls who are pregnant under the age of 17. Even then we can deny you pregancy. It will have to re a realistic one for us to give you permission, so please keep that in mind.

12: If you have to speak in the RP sections, use

the OCC means (Out Of Character) BIC: (Back In Character)

13: OOC (Out-of-character) flaming(Cruelty or insults) to other members will not be tolerated.

14: Before using your RP character, be sure to post a thread in the sign up section. You may not begin to RP until it is approved and moved to the appropriate board. Use the bio form to make the thread.

15: If you are wanting to have an heart to heart talk or are on a date then you need to put up a disclaimer in the post or the name of the person you want to join in the title or a disclaimer saying I've PMed the person I want to join the post. And actually PM them and let them know. Not everyone's a good mind reader. If you want to get a scene that you think is important to the developement of the board and everyone keeps coming in and interrupting then I will lock a thread and you and your party or parties will get temporary lock post powers to that thread. so you can post in the thread when locked. Just PM the staff about it and we will set it up for you. We know with alot of people RPing it's hard to know when to come in and sometimes you may come in on an important scene and not know it. Just go with the flow if you get interupped and PM a staff member and you can start another thread with the similar vibe and get to do the scene you want to play out.

16: NO SPAMMING!! If you want to advertise your sites and things like that then I don't mind. But if you advertise your site and just disappear then it will be removed and deleted from our archives and threads. We do have affiliates and we will be happy to link your button if you link our site as well. If we still have your button up and you no longer have ours up I will delete the button from our board. It's not fair to get free hostage from here and we aren't getting any in return.

17: No Stealing Banners, Icons, Fanfiction, Scences, Pics, and Videos. Or anything along the line of those mentioned above. We love everyone to get credit for what they post and make so please refrain from taking it without asking permission and credit must be given.
